The Seaconis SR-8000 Hybrid works by combining Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and image scanning technologies to accurately read and process a wide range of documents. When a form is fed into the scanner, its dual sensors—one for detecting marked bubbles (OMR) and another for capturing full images—work simultaneously. This allows the scanner to detect shaded bubbles on exams or surveys while also capturing visual data like barcodes, ID card images, or handwritten notes. It can scan both sides of a document at once, ensuring fast and efficient processing. The scanned data is then sent to connected software, which analyzes and organizes the information for reporting or further action.
